It's good to do a few tests before important photo events. During the preparation of the "Blue moon project" on August 30th, 2023, we were already able to create interesting recordings that could not be repeated in this form, since the weather conditions tonight when the super moon rose were suboptimal.
We decided on the motif "Blue moon over Lichtenberg" and from 8:30 p.m. set up our camera at a suitable distance on the neighboring hill, but instead of an impressive moonrise, only tiny red bands of light shimmered over Lichtenberg (Picture 4) through the clouds. However, the size of the moon can at least be guessed at.
At least a few interesting shots of the "blue moon" behind clouds were taken at a later hour ... from the kitchen window.
